Star Daughter Upset With Delay in her Debut?

Veteran diva Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is the one star kid whose silver screen debut is much awaited. Going by the latest buzz in film circles, its not just the movie lovers and fans who are disappointed with the delay in her debut film’s announcement, but Jhanvi herself as well.

Knowing that Karan Johar is the best option to launch star kids, Sridevi has entrusted him with the responsibility of introducing Jhanvi. There have been various reports about Karan having finalized the star kid for the remake of blockbuster film, ‘Sairat’ or ‘Student of the Year 2’ or both, but there has been no official announcement yet regarding the same.Miffed by the delay, Jhanvi has reportedly asked her mother to intervene and tell Karan Johar to quicken the process. Realizing that Johar was indeed delaying her daughter’s film, while being busy with big films, Sridevi has reportedly asked him to finalize her daughter’s debut film and make an announcement at the earliest. Johar is heard to have assured the veteran diva that he would do it as soon as things fall in place.

Jhanvi is likely to debut in the Hindi remake of “Sairat”, in which she will co-star with Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter.In the meanwhile, Jhanvi’s friend and fellow star kid, Sara Ali Khan has already wrapped up the shooting of her debut film, ‘Kedarnath’.
