From Telugu film industryYoung hero Naga Shourya seems to have chosen a very exciting content for his upcoming film, "Chalo", which is also his first own production venture. The film tells the story of how a Telugu boy and Tamil girl's love story leads to a massive fight between the Telugu and Tamil people at the states' border.
Shourya plays the Telugu boy and Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna plays the Tamil girl in Chalo. The film's story takes place at the border between the Telugu and Tamil states. How their passionate love story turns into a sort of fight between people of two states, and how the unsuspecting lovers evade the restrictions put up by the society, and unite at the end will reportedly be narrated in an entertaining manner.
'Venky Kudumula, who previously assisted top director Trivikram, is making his directorial debut with 'Chalo'. Impressed by the subject, Shourya decided to bankroll it himself. Chalo is a very important film for Shourya not just because he produced it, but also because his image and market are at stake owing to back to back debacles.
Scheduled to release on December 29 this year, the film also marks reigning Kannada sensation Rashmika's debut in  tollywood
