Here's the real reason why Ranveer – Shahid might not come together to celebrate Padmaavat's success
Is rivalry the reason why Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh won't be coming together for a Padmaavat success bash? Find out the true story here
Time and again we have heard actors clarifying it’s a myth that two actors can’t be friends; yet we find gossip mongers pitting one actor against another with every next multi-starrer. The same was evident with Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh coming together for Padmaavat. Although the two never really spoke ill about each other but reading in between the lines, people believe that Ranveer and Shahid don’t get along well. In fact, Shahid’s comment that he felt like an “outsider” on the sets of Padmaavat further sparked rumours if he’s hinting at his fallout with Ranveer; although his mention of the word “outsider” was only with reference to the fact it was his first film with Ranveer-Deepika and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Taking advantage of this situation, an online portal carried another speculation today stating that Shahid will also be skipping a supposed success party of Padmaavat to avoid crossing paths with Ranveer. However, Bhansali Productions CEO. Shobha Sant finally puts an end to all the speculations surrounding Shahid, Ranveer and the success party saying, “This is #fiction too. The producers, both @Viacom18Movies and #BhansaliProductions are busy trying to release #Padmaavat in the 3 states. No time to discuss #successparty… as yet.” Here, check out her tweet below:

Interestingly, Ranveer in his recent interview reacted to Shahid’s “outsider” comment saying, “To be honest, I did my best to welcome him and did whatever I could do to be a supportive co-actor. But I think it’s got to do with the genre as well. I think Padmaavat is Shahid’s first costume drama and a costume drama has its own set of unique challenges which I had faced during Bajirao Mastani and it takes some time to get adapted to it. I think he’s reacting to that.”
