Star trainer, Rakesh Udiyar who has also trained Aamir Khan and Salman Khan earlier, has been training Kaushal to achieve that bod. In the film he will be seen doing hand-to-hand combat too and so has been undergoing MMA training as well.

Playing a Major, he needs to be familiar with the ammunitions and for that Vicky will be staying at the Dehradun Indian Military Academy and taking a special Army training with the Army officials of the ammunition and artillery wings. Apart from this, the actor has been doing a lot of reading and research on the said military operations and on the Indian Army overall. According to sources, he is looking forward to his stay at the Academy and interacting with the army officials and cadets.

Vicky will be seen in Dharma Productions’ Raazi opposite Alia Bhatt, directed by Meghna Gulzar. He will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's biopic on Sanjay Dutt followed by Karan Johar's short film in Bombay Talkies 2 and then in Love Per Square Foot, a romantic drama produced by NetFlix.
