Salman Khan shares the story of how he started to get addressed as "BHAI"

Whenever you hear the word ‘bhai’, you automatically know that we are talking about none other than Salman Khan. But he wasn’t addressed by that name at the start of his career, so ever wondered how he got it?

Well, Salman Khan himself is here to tell you story behind getting the title and it’s a really adorable one. During an event in the city, Salman revealed, "Now because Sohail (Khan) calls me bhai, so all of Sohail's friend started calling me bhai. Now it so happens that even seniors have started calling me bhai. But from Salman to Sallu to Salle to Sallu bhai to bhai, it's been quite a good journey.”

Yes, indeed it has. After a long 25 years in the industry and still standing strong, Salman Khan very well deserves to be called by that name. Blockbuster bhaijaan, bhai of Bollywood and all the other names do justice to his place in the industry.

Proving his stature, he is still one of most successful stars in the industry, raging at the box office each year with his performances. The latest of the many being Tiger Zinda Hai that shook the box office with a quick 300 crores. Coming up next is Race 3 which he is currently shooting for in Bangkok with a huge cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah. After Race 3, Salman will be seen in Bharat where he will be sporting his look from Maine Pyar Kiya and the film is set to release next year Eid.
