We are still struggling to come in terms with the fact Sridevi is no more. The veteran, who was just 54, passed away after suffering a major cardiac arrest in Dubai last night. As a source close to the family revealed, “Sridevi was not ailing of any major sickness which is why this news is so shocking. She has been fit and hale and hearty for a long time. She suffered a massive cardiac arrest in Dubai where she was on a short break and passed away after doctors could not bring her back. This was something that no one expected.” Sridevi, along with her husband, Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi were in Dubai to attend Mohit Marwah’s wedding. However, she decided to extend her stay at the hotel, while Boney and Khushi came back to Mumbai a day before yesterday. Their elder daughter Janhvi unfortunately couldn’t be a part of the wedding as she was busy shooting for her debut film, Dhadak. Little did she know that she would never get to see her mom again

Ram Gopal Verma penned a moving condolence letter saying, “I HATE SRIDEVI FOR DYING” I have a habit of constantly dreaming and waking up every once in a while in the night to check out my cell phone and I suddenly saw a message that Sridevi is no more. I thought that either it’s a nightmare or a hoax and I went back to sleep. An hour later I woke up to check and there were around 50 messages informing me of the same.Back in the times when I was in an engineering college in Vijayawada, I happened to see her first telugu film “padaharella vayasu”. I was awestruck with her Beauty and I walked out of the theatre in a daze thinking that she cannot be a real person and she has to be some fantasy form who somehow has taken a human shape. Then I saw her various other films, all of which constantly created a higher bench mark of both her talent and her beauty ..To me she looked like some being who has come from some other world in the outer space as a favour to bless us for a little while for all the good we might have done in this world. One of the main reasons for me coming into films was my desire to see her up close in real ..Kshanakshanam film was my love letter to Sridevi https://t.co/hsxyNeOmRR pic.twitter.com/feSm4ErxCG
