Jhanvi Kapoor Back On The Sets of Dhadak

Janhvi Kapoor has resumed shooting for Dhadak just 13 days after the shocking death of her mother, Sridevi. We even showed you a picture of Janhvi, looking beautiful yet lost, while getting ready for her first shot of the day. However, did you notice that she looked like a spitting image of Sridevi from English Vinglish? Yes, if you look closely at the picture above, you will realise that not only do they look very similar, but the saree, bindi, hair and makeup makes Janhvi look exactly like her mother did in English Vinglish. Sridevi passed away in Dubai on February 24 this year. Janhvi was shooting for her debut film during that time and as soon as she heard the news, she broke down. Mentor Karan Johar was so concerned about her that he told Janhvi to take some time off and resume shooting for Dhadak after some time. However, Janhvi did not want to let other people’s efforts go to waste and hence, just 13 days after the death of her mother, she was on the sets of Dhadak once again. We are sure Sridevi would be proud, because she was also someone who never wanted to waste anyone’s time and efforts and was very committed to her work.
