Sequel to Geetanjali movie confirmed

No, not Maniratnam’s Geethanjali, but horror movie Geetanjali in which Anjali and Srinivasa Reddy played the lead roles is confirmed to have sequel soon. Geethanjali was released in 2014, and the film was written and Presented by Kona Venkat and directed by debutant Raj Kiran. Geethanjali became a milestone in the career of Anjali and brought Kona Venkat good name after he parted with director Srinu Vaitla. Now the sequel is confirmed but will not be directed by Raj Kiran who directed the original movie in 2014. Debutant director Subbu is directing the film Geethanjali 2 . Kona Venkat is producing this movie under Kona Cine Corporation banner . Anjali and Srinivasa Reddy will play the lead roles again in this sequel too. Needless to say, this sequel too will be in same horror-comedy genre. Soon, all the cast and crew will be officially announced by the film unit.
