Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with Aanand L Rai's 'Zero'. According to a report, the actor has allegedly given his nod for Rakesh Sharma's biopic 'Salute'. After few meetings with the makers, SRK has given his dates for the film, which will reportedly go on floors in September.

The report further states that the star will wrap up the shoot of 'Zero' by the end of April, after which he will begin prep for the film for about three months to get into the skin of the character. The actor and his team will do a research and study nuances to perfect his role as an astronaut.

Shah Rukh will reportedly be filming from September to November and take a break for the promotions of 'Zero' in December. He will resume the shoot in January 2019.

The biopic trend has caught on to Bollywood and it is showing no signs of leaving anytime soon. From actor Sanjay Dutt to math wiz Anand Kumar and cricketer Kapil Dev getting their lives played out on the big-screen, it now looks like Prime Minister Narendra Modi may soon be getting a biopic of his own.

According to latest reports, it will be actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha who will step into the PM’s shoes for the film allegedly being produced by Sheetal Talwar.

Online reports state that Sinha spilled the beans on this role of a lifetime when he was in London to attend the 'Political and Public Life Awards' ceremony. Calling the PM a “dynamic action hero”, he reportedly said that he was looking forward to doing full justice to the part.

A while back, it was reported that actor-politician Paresh Rawal was also working on a biopic based on the PM.

Towards the end of 2017, it was announced that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen essaying the role of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray in a film produced by party leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut. The first look teaser of the film went viral as soon as it released and now, Nawaz has finally begun the prep for the much-anticipated biopic. The versatile ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actor took to Instagram to share a picture of himself from Thackeray’s residence in Mumbai and posed along with the late Shiv Sena supremo’s son Uddhav Thackeray, and grandson Aaditya Thackeray. He wrote, “The prep work starts from the right place and with the right people @ Matoshree.

It was pleasure meeting Shri Uddhav Ji Thackeray, Shri Sanjay Ji Raut, Aditya Thackeray and the blessings of Shri Balasaheb Thackeray.”
