Rangasthalam collections and records just before 100 days

Rangasthalam, the blockbuster rural drama in Ram Charan-Sukumar combo, had decent expectations ever since the project was announced. However, until the film's release, there were several doubts on its box office result.Even though Sukumar had earned the reputation of a talented director, he didn't give commercially viable films. Whole 1 Nenokkadine was one of the biggest flops in Mahesh's career, Nannaku Prematho just managed to bring back the investments. 

In this scenario, doubts were cast on Rangasthalam's box office performance. Since the movie was sold for nearly 80 crores, Rangasthalam had to surpass Mahadheera's full run collections to break even. But the film released in March end and had a dream run with emphatic collections at the ticket counters and ended up as the all-time highest grossing non-Baahubali movie.

While beating Khaidi No. 150's lifetime collections (Rs 102 crores) itself is a great achievement, Rangasthalam went on to collect 20 crore additional share. After a grand 50 day run, Rangasthalam is now racing towards the 100 day milestone in several centres in AP and Telangana with decent daily shares.An unbelievable feat pulled off by Rangasthalam is that the film has collected Rs 1 crore plus share in 31 theaters across the Telugu states. At Sudarshan Theater near RTC X Roads in Hyderabad, Rangasthalam collected nearly Rs 1.7 crore gross, and is all set to complete its 100 day run in a couple of days.
