Erica Fernandes to shoot for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's announcement video soon?

Well, well, well, it seems to be a good news for Erica Fernandes' fans. The actor who won several hearts with her role as Sonakshi Bose in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is all set to make a comeback with Ekta Kapoor's production Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The original show aired between 2001-2008 with Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan and Ronit Roy in the lead roles. 

 If a report in Mumbai Mirror is to be believed, Erica will be shooting for a video for the announcement soon. “Erica came on board a while ago and is slated to shoot a video for the announcement soon. Talks have been on with her Kuch Rang… co-star Shaheer Sheikh to join in as the male lead. The show will go on air in August on Star Plus and work on creating the grand sets for the show has begun," the source said. 

 However, Shaheer is reported to have signed a historical show based on Mughal-E-Azam. However, given that Shaheer met up with Ekta recently whilst in London we wonder if there has been a shift in the plan. Erica and Shaheer are undoubtedly one of the most adored couples on the Indian Television. This would be a casting coup of sorts if Ekta manages to bring the two back together. Kasautii was the story of two lovers (Anurag and Prerna), who never were able to meet due to circumstance. Eventually, Anurag married Urvashi Dholakia [Kamolika] while Prerna ended up marrying Mr.Bajaj (Ronit).
