Deepika Padukone will be immortalized at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London and in Delhi. Deepika is in London currently for the measurements of her wax figure. The actor shared fun snaps on social media.

Deepika announced this to her fans through a Live interaction on Facebook. When asked how she feels about being a part of the museum, Deepika said, “It’s an amazing feeling to be honest. I think it’s fun, it’s exciting. In a way I feel a lot of gratitude as well because when you give back to your fans - give them the opportunity to interact, give them a little more than the movies. I think that’s always very special. I hope they love it as much as we enjoy the process of creating the wax figure.”

In Delhi's Madame Tussauds branch, Deepika's wax figure will be displayed with personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli, Asha Bhosle and others. In a statement, Deepika shared, “I am so delighted. The sitting with the team of experts was a special experience and I look forward to the incredible figure at the attraction.”

During the live interaction on Facebook, Deepika was asked about her reaction when she was first approached by the officials of the museum, “Very very excited because the only time I have visited the Madame Tussauds was in London with my parents when I was very little. That memory has stayed with me obviously and to now be a part of that and to actually experience what actually experience what goes into making this wax figure. Madame Tussauds is iconic in so many ways all over the world. It feels great that I can be a small part of it,” she said.
