Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nani grace the pre-release event of Naga Chaitanya's Shailaja Reddy Alludu

Shailaja Reddy Alludu starring Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel in the lead roles is all set to release on September 13. The promotions of the film are in full swing. Ahead of the release, the makers of the film hosted a grand pre-released event attended by Nani and Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna and Nani graced the event as Chief Guests. These two stars will be seen soon in their next, ‘DevaDas’ which is slated for release on September 27th. Besides them, the event was attended by Anu Emmanuel and Ramya Krishna.

The film was supposed to release on August 31st but due to some technical issues, the makers of the film postponed the release. Announcing the same, Naga Chaitanya had tweeted, “Due to the unfortunate situation in Kerala .. team #ShailajaReddyAlludu is not able to finish the re-recording of the film which is happening there and remaining post production on time .. the makers will fix on the next best possible date and announce shortly”

The cinematography of Shailaja Reddy Alludu is being handled by Nizar Shafi who has worked on Tamil film Sutta Kadhai and Telugu films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Nenu Local and Mahanubhavudu. Shailaja Reddy Alludu will have trademark Maruthi humour and will be filled with hilarious episodes. Vennela Kishore would be seen playing a key role in Shailaja Reddy Alludu and is expected to bring in some humour quotient in the plot.
