Nagarjuna is all smiles as the team of Devadas wraps up shoot

Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni is a busy man indeed. Well, the actor shared a smiling selfie of his as the team of Devadas wrapped up the shoot. The film also stars Nani and Rashmika Mandanna. In the film, Nagarjuna plays a gangster Deva while Nani is a doctor. Akanksha Singh is one of the female leads of the film. It is supposed to be on the lines of films like Gopala Gopala. Actor Murli Sharma wrote how lucky he was to share screen space with Nagarjuna after being his fan for so long. The film will hit the theatres on September 27. This is the first project of Nani and Rashmika.

The film is apparently inspired a bit from the Munnabhai series. Earlier, Nagarjuna told IANS, "This new film that I am doing with Nani is very much in the Rajkumar Hirani territory. I play a gangster and Nani plays my doctor. It is a very warm-hearted funny script. And I ve a feeling director Sriram Adittya will make something special out of it. I ve never in my career felt threatened by the presence of any other actor. Earlier I was mostly doing solo-hero films in Telugu because that was what was offered to me. Recently these two-hero projects have come which I enjoy doing. I enjoyed working with Karthi in Oopiri . I am sure working with Nani will be a lot of fun."
