Rakul Preet looks beautiful as Sridevi in the NTR biopic

The biopic on NTR, NT Rama Rao or Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is one of the most awaited projects down South. Actress Rakul Preet Singh plays the role of Sridevi in the film. Krish's film is in two parts. The first part NTR Kathanayakudu will release on January 9 while the second one NTR Mahanayakudu will come on the Republic Day weekend. A number of actresses have been roped in to play his co-stars. Actress Vidya Balan plays the role of his wife, Basavatarakam. The first look of Rakul is out and she is dressed in the late Sridevi's favourite colour, white. She sports a printed white chiffon saree with diamond jewellery and a white bindi. With her dreamy gaze, she instantly reminds us of the actress.

Rakul Preet is aware that all eyes will be on her in the film. She said, "I am really excited about the project and I know all eyes will be on me because for the first time someone is going to play Srideviji in a film.” We have seen how good Rana Daggubati looks as Chandrababu Naidu in the pics shared by the Baahubali hunk. NT Rama Rao was one of the cult figures of the Telugu film industry. Buzz is that Krish quit Manikarnika mid-way to focus more on this project, which is quite close to everyone associated with it.
