Lasith Malinga accused of sexual harassment; Chinmayi Sripaada shares an anonymous note

The Me Too movement has been gaining momentum with each passing day and it isn't just the Bollywood or entertainment industry that has been affected by it so far. After Tanushree Dutta's allegations of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar, there were many others who opened up and the list of accused keeps increasing. And amidst all the names that have cropped up, one of the names is that of former Sri Lanka captain Arjun Ranatunga. The cricketer has been accused of sexually harassing an Indian flight attendant.


Ranatunga has been accused of grabbing a woman and trying to slide his hands through the side of her breast. It has also been said that when she reported the incident, the hotel staff told her that it was her personal matter. And now, another Sri Lankan cricketer has been accused of sexual misconduct. Singer Chinmayi Sripaada, in a post on social media shared an anonymous note of a woman where she narrated the entire incident that took place with her. The incident that is being talked about is said to have happened during one of the IPL seasons.


This note is just another of the so many surprising incidents that has come to light, and if it wasn't for this wave of the Me Too movement that has begun in India, all these voices would have remained quiet.Some of the most renowned names in the industry including the likes of Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Tanmay Bhat and many others have been accused of sexual misconduct.
