Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Athiya Shetty kick-start shooting for romcom Motichoor Chaknachoor

Critically acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has started shooting for his next movie which is a romcom with a pinch of family drama. The movie has a fresh pairing of Athiya Shetty along with Nawaz. Titled Motichoor Chaknachoor, the story revolves around an odd couple and it will be shot entirely in Bhopal. Directed by Debamitra Hassan, the movie will reportedly wrap up by the first week of December.As per a report of Mumbai Mirror, both Nawaz and Athiya are undergoing extensive language and accent training for their characters.

Earlier, producer Rajesh Bhatia told Bollywood Hungama that Motichoor Chaknachoor is a situation wedding comedy that revolves around the families of bride and groom.While we have seen different shades of Nawazuddin on screen, it will be interesting to see what Athiya has in store for the audience. Most importantly, acting along with a star performer like Nawaz will itself be a huge challenge for the actress.

Nawaz, who was last seen in Manto portrayed the life of Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto in Nandita Das film. The movie which got positive reviews from critics also featured Divya Dutta, Tahir Raj Bhasin, lyricist Javed Akhtar in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut with Hero, co-starring Sooraj Pancholi. She was later seen in 2017 film Mubarakan co-starring Arjun Kapoor.
