Abhishek Bachchan whisks birthday girl Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Goa for a family getaway

We all know that Abhishek Bachchan is a doting husband to wife and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. This was evidenced recently when the actor revealed that he had kept a Karwa Chauth fast for Aishwarya as well and gave us major husband goals. AB Jr has always been all praises for his ladylove, whether it be during interviews or even when it comes to some social media PDA. Hence, it comes as no surprise that Abhishek would make Aishwarya's 45th birthday today, i.e. November 1, 2018, extra special.

A source revealed to Mid-Day about Abhishek's thoughtful gesture for Aishwarya. The actor is currently neck deep shooting for Anurag Basu's Life in a Metro sequel in Hooghly but wanted to be by Aishwarya's side for her birthday. Hence, AB Jr flew down to Mumbai on Monday night and hosted a surprise party for Aishwarya at the Bachchan household yesterday. It was a private affair with just family and close friends. Aishwarya also visited the Siddhivinyak temple last night.

Abhishek and Aishwarya along with their darling daughter Aaradhya Bachchan then headed to Goa, early morning. The getaway will be short and sweet as Abhishek has to return to shooting for the Life in a Metro sequel on November 4, 2018.

Now that is a sweet gesture by Abhishek for Aishwarya! Wouldn't you agree?

Meanwhile, Abhishek and Aishwarya will reunite on-screen after almost a decade in Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun to be helmed by debutante Sarvesh Mewara. The couple is likely to commence shooting for Gulab Jamun from January 2019.
