Nithya Menon Becomes 'The Iron Lady'

Nithya Menen has now become a hot topic in the industry. Firstly, she made it into the news by announcing that she is going to play the role of veteran actress Savithri in NTR Biopic.

She also bagged a Bollywood project 'Mission Mangal'. In an interview, Nithya revealed the details of 'The Iron Lady' as well. Apparently, director Jagan Shakti and producer R Balki had called and asked her to play a scientist in a really interesting film. "Even in the past, I was offered plenty of Hindi films. I just wanted to be as choosy with the films in other languages. I wanted my debut to be a really nice film and I am happy that I found this nice character. I don't think we have done a film like this... you know, a space film," said Nithya. Nithya is also playing late politician Jayalalitha in the biopic 'The Iron Lady'. 

"The film on Jayalalitha is very heavy. I was very impressed when director Priyadarshini came with the film to me. She was very focused. I am really looking forward to doing that film. That will be interesting to explore as an artiste," she added.
