VD's Taxiwaala Stood As Box Office Winner

Vijay Devarkonda signed Taxiwaala immediately after “Peelichoopulu” success. But the film got postponed for many times and faced piracy issues. VD’s Taxiwaala had been brought for very small amount and the producers themselves distributed the film in almost all the areas in both the Telugu states.

But within a week it emerged a winner at the box office. Taxiwaala has turned out to be a golden goose for its US distributors also. The film has grossed over 25 crores worldwide within a week and this is  more than double the investment.VD’s Taxiwaala can enjoy another decent week at the box office as there are big releases until 2.0. NOTA turned to be biggest flop but within a month Vijay bounced back with huge success.
