A film like '2.O' can be created only if thousands of people come together to make a visual spectacle. This Sci-Fi Flick was completely shot with 3D Cameras and the content was later enhanced with Visual Effects. Delay in the release by more than one year is because of the inability of the VFX Company preferred initially. In the end, Makers had to approach much bigger company to get the job done.VFX Supervisor Srinivas Mohan: '80 percent of '2.O' VFX Work was done by the Indian crew. I have been able to complete my job successful with their support. The VFX Company we approached in the end has done a great job. It had won many awards for expertise in 3D format'.

Srinivas Mohan has been working continuously with Shankar since 'Boys'. He informed that so much hard work was put in to make the crow-man role look so effective. 'We spent one-a-half-year on this bird VFX alone. Finally, We got in touch with Legacy Effects Studio-Los Angeles. Finalized the look of the bird with 3D Modeling,' he reveals.

When quizzed about the money spent for Visual Effects, Srinivas Mohan told: 'VFX isn't only expensive but also time costuming. My budget estimate for '2.O' was Rs 80 crore. We ended up spending another Rs 100 crore by the time we achieved the desired output. Thanks to LYCA Productions for supporting throughout the journey. Don't know if this movie would have shaped up the way it had if the Producer wasn't so cooperative. Overall, I am completely satisfied with what we had achieved. VFX in '2.O' will be 100 times better than 'Robo''.
