Charming beauty Hansika landed in an unwanted controversy with the poster of her landmark 50th film 'Maha.' In this poster Hansika is seen in a swamiji's costumes and was also found smoking on the backdrop of Sadhus.

However, as anticipated this poster did not get positive response and it invited a backlash. A case has been filed against Hansika and the director UR Jameel claiming that the poster has hurt the sentiments of religious people. The petitioner demanded action on Hansika and Jameel.

Responding to the criticism director Jameel took it on his Twitter handle and explained what he intended to show. "My intension was to just create something unique and not to knowingly hurt anybody's sentiments related to caste or religion. I believe in humanity and not in Hindu-Muslim, so pls don't create caste and religion angle," tweeted the director.

We have to see how the petitioner responds and hope the issue settles earlier.
