'RRR' to release when Theaters Operate at Full Capacity- Official Statement by Team

The RRR movie was postponed as many Indian theaters are closing due to the wake of the Omicron variant. The team promised to bring back the glory of Indian Cinema at the right time.

The movie was initially slated to release on January 7th. Confirming the rumors, the RRR team has released an official statement. If the pandemic situation in the country gets better, the movie will release on 18th March, 2022... otherwise on 28th April 2022. Apparently, the movie team said that the movie will be released when the theaters open up to operate at full capacity.

The movie is helmed by S.S.Rajamouli, bankrolled by D.V.V. Danayya, which is touted to be a fictional story based on the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

While Ram Charan plays Seetharama Raju, Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem. Actors Alia Bhatt, Alison Doody, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morrison, Ray Stevenson, Shriya Saran, and Samuthirakani play key roles in this upcoming pan-India movie.
