Speculations have been rife for the past couple of days that slender beauty Regina Cassandra, has been roped in for Balakrishna Nandamuri's 102nd film. Since the film already has Nayanthara and Natashi Doshi in key roles, movie lovers wondered whether there is any significance for Regina's character.
Understandably perturbed by the unceasing speculations, the 'Nakshatram' actress has now clarified that she was not a part of Balayya's 102nd film. She also wished the team a grand success.
Regina, who has earned the 'Mega heroine' tag after acting in two films starring Mega camp heroes, said that she was not on board for #Balayya102 but she didn't divulge whether she was approached or not. It is heard that Regina was indeed approached for the film but she rejected it feeling that her character has no or less substance.
We have already reported that Kannada beauty Hari Priya, who was earlier seen in a few Telugu films including Nani's 'Pilla Zamindar', has been roped in after Regina had turned down the role. It is heard that the role has nothing on performance front and is incorporated only to up film's glamour quotient.
