178 crores for 'Mersal'

Vijay 'Mersal' is making a success. Vijay has played three different roles, and the film is gaining huge gains in every area of ??its release. In Tamilnadu, the film grossed over 50 crores in a week, generating 87 crores of gross. 

Mersal received 63 crores of shares worth Rs 117 crores gross throughout the country. In the US, it gained 4.7 crore shares to 9.4 crore gross. In the rest of the countries, it has collected a total of 26 crores, 52 crores of gross.

Overall, the movie received 94 crores shares and 178 crore gross. Vijay's Craze along with some of the dialogues of the film have come up with a controversy that is said to have gained this level. The film is going to come up with the title 'Adirindhi' in Telugu.
